Updates from the VERITY project
In the past months, VERITY has been actively engaging stakeholders across Europe to validate and amplify its recommendations for strengthening public trust in science. March saw the successful Scenario-Building Workshop in Vienna, uniting over 30 experts in science communication, education, and policy to test and refine the VERITY policy proposals. This was followed by the April launch of the Citizen Media Lab, an interactive digital experiment engaging citizens in evaluating VERITY’s 20 key recommendations through microlearning modules and open dialogue.
In May, VERITY joined its sister projects IANUS and POIESIS at the Joint Final Conference in Brussels (https://verityproject.eu/
VERITY was also spotlighted at the SAM Conference in Vienna and shared key insights on trust in science at international events including the MCAA Annual Conference and CEMES Research Network meeting.
Additionally, VERITY’s impact continues to grow through strategic collaborations, notably with the PATTERN project to promote Open and Responsible Research and Innovation. The final version of the VERITY Protocol (https://zenodo.org/records/
