Wondering how the event well? Time to discover it now!

For the past ten years, PUBMET conference has been gathering hundreds of participants from all over the world to talk about Scholarly Communication in the Context of Open Science. This September, the tenth edition of the conference gathered over 190 people in Zadar, to discuss topics such as good publishing practices, platforms, and services for open access publishing, open research infrastructures, sustainability in research, training and education on open science, the benefits of sharing research data, and the application of artificial intelligence in scientific communication. Emphasizing the evaluation of scientific work, academic integrity and responsibility in science, participants had the opportunity to participate in short presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and a series of invited lectures, which were enriched by the keynote speakers – a number of experts in the field of scientific communication, publishing and open science.

The spotlight also highlighted some thought-provoking posters, among them the one where Sanja Jurković and Bojan Macan from our Croatian partner institution, the Ruđer Bošković Institute, presented the PATTERN project and its significance for Croatia.
